Description
Thurra River campground provides isolated bush camping at its best. Situated about 5 kms from the Point Hicks Lighthouse, on the road to Cann River, the Campground has 46 sites located in coastal woodland between the Thurra River and the ocean surf beach. The river is shallow and safe for summer swimming. Campsites are available all year round. Bookings are only necessary over the Christmas New Year and Easter periods. At all other times select a vacant site and the manager will visit you in the evening.
