Description
Peak Charles National Park is located approximately 100km SW of Norseman. The small National Park features the 650m high granite Peak Charles and the adjacent Peak Eleanora which provide superb views of the dry sand plain heaths and salt lake systems below. Crafted from fine orange granite and containing smaller faces and gullies, Peak Charles offers excellent rock climbing routes with walking trails to the base. There is a basic campground with toilet facilities and firewood. There is no water available. Access is via Coolgardie-Esperance Highway into gravel roads suitable for 2WD vehicles. All other tracks in the National-Park are suitable for 4WD only. National Park Fee does not apply. Camping Fees are applicable.
