Description
A great beach-side camping secret, beautiful Lime Bay is located near the atmospheric convict ruins of the Coal Mines Historic Site north-east of Hobart on the Tasman Peninsula . The campground has shady unpowered campsites suitable for both tents and camper trailers with million dollar water views. Bookings are not taken. As total fire bans can occur at short notice, a fuel stove is recommended for cooking. At Premaydena take the C341 and follow the signs to The Coal Mines Historic Site(approx 12kms). Minimum fee is $13.00 for two people with each additional adult $5.00 & additional child $2.50. Family rate $16.00 (2 adults, 3 children). Please bring your own water and firewood.
