Description
Centrally located within Namadgi National Park, Honeysuckle Campground offers bush camping with basic amenities. The Campground has access to the historic Honeysuckle Creek Tracking Station used in the Apollo space missions until 1981. The dish and buildings have since been removed. A walking track connects to Booroomba Rocks/Orroral Ridge. The campground has facilities including covered shelter with seats, composting toilets, gas bbq's and fireplaces(bring your own firewood). Vehicular access is via the sealed Apollo Road. Bookings are essential with a three night limit applicable.
