Description
Camping within the Lakes National Park is only permitted at Emu Bight, close to the shore of Lake Victoria. Campers are required to bring their own firewood and water supplies. Fires may only be lit in the fireplaces provided and are not permitted on individual campsites. Emu Bight has good camping and picnic areas however little shelter. The site has a loose, uneven, sandy surface, characteristic of the area with some obstacles. A network of gently undulating walking tracks exist suitable for family outings with many bird species observed throughout the park. Peak Rates of $16.50 per site apply in holiday periods. Sites must be booked.
