Description
Doon Goonge Camping Area is a secluded, quiet campsite located within the Chaelundi National Park. Ten campsites are available for camper trailer vehicle based and walk in camping. Access is via 4WD vehicle along the steep unsealed Chandlers Fire Trail or Quartz Road. Enjoy the adjacent river or experienced bushwalkers may set off to explore the Chaelundi Wilderness Area. Visitors are required to book in advance, pay a camping fee, obtain a vehicle permit and a key to the locked gates. Bring your own firewood for wood fire barbeques and drinking water.
